V = (Q1 * Q2 * I) / C
Value = (Quantity * Quality * Intangibles) / Cost
Quantity = Amount of food multiplied by 2 if enough food for a leftover dinner, by 1.5 if enough food for a leftover lunch or multiplied by .8 if too much food but not enough to take home or .5 if should take it home but you always end of gorging yourself instead
Quality = self explanatory
Intangibles = add 2 points for each of the following:
All day breakfast
Sweet tea
Large number of booths
HDTVs
Attractive Staff
Interesting and/or entertaining decor
Crayons
Promise the commenting on comments post is coming.
um how much time did you spend coming up with this formula because as ingenious as it is...it looks like you actually tried this over and over to make sure it worked.
ReplyDeletelarge number of booths is key. good job.
ReplyDeletep.s. thanks for supporting the loop in the previous post (*ahem, CLAYTON*)
Sweet tea and all day breakfast are personal intangibles that not everyone cares about...can we make up our own intangibles, or is the list final?
ReplyDeleteThe loop? seriously? nothing on the menu that can't be made at home easily or it is an overpriced pizza. I hate it.
ReplyDeleteI am insulted (and all females) that you actually put attractive staff on your list. think before you post things. Nothing good will come from you putting this on here.
Kristen and Jenna, i'm shocked!! why didn't you post on the staff thing. have you lost your edge or given up on the redeeming qualities of VZ.
Also, Quality is not self explanatory. How does this translate into numbers? scale of 1-10? If so, that would have taken less typing to just type "scale 1-10".
Overall good post though. It was different and interesting but kind-of difficult to swallow.
I agree with Clayton. The Loops sucks. I actually have ended friendships with people because they wanted to go eat at the Loop.
ReplyDeleteIf attractive staff is an intangible, then the Starbucks in La Canada, California is a damn fine establishment.
(Is it okay if I write damn on here?)
Third, the quantity criteria is confusing. If you eat too much, it's your fault. You could have taken it home. Unless its Mexican food. You ALWAYS have to eat all the Mexican food. Then when your done, you continue to eat the chips and salsa while the others finish. Then you are upset because you had a delicious burrito, but leave the restaurant with the taste of stale chips in your mouth. Yuck.
i agree with the quantity assessment by chad. and how many points for the right amount of food? and is the "right" amount based on how much you need to eat, want to eat, or based on the price value?
ReplyDeletethis needs to be worked out.
